 It is possible to turn your own website or channel into an Internet Radio or TV station very easily. For example, Invincible net TV is a streaming live 24x7 from our servers. The encoding was also done from broadcast master tapes at our production facility for the record labels. We have built a broadcast playout system for the client to create, manage and broadcast content playlists live as well as Video On Demand (VOD).
A jukebox function is available to shuffle the content.

Astream's Outside Webcast Unit offers a professional and cost effective mobile webcasting solution for all your on-site streaming needs. Our state of the art broadcast van is equipped with the latest digital cameras, 16 channel sound desk and 8 channel vision mixer for live editing (HD enabled).

This compact and effective acquisition facility enables us to bring the expertise of broadcast quality video streaming to conferencing and any other type of live event in both the corporate and commercial sector. With many years experience in the broadcast arena our technical staff ensure that camera captures are of the highest quality whilst maintaining their 'streamability'. These are Astream's Unique Web Production values.

Webcasts need not be public events and a restricted audience can receive a private transmission through the use of passwords and other security measures, 'Pay-Per-View'. We fully understand firewalls and corporate security requirements and can offer a complete solution with these needs in mind. We are able to advise on the in-house technical upgrades that may be necessary before attempting to broadcast.

Astream's custom built 'mobile encoding rigs' can be flown globally with our webcasting teams. We always inspect a site with a full survey in advance to assess the technical needs of the project and to avoid any unforseen problems that may arise.

We will advise on the necessary internet connection to transmit a signal to our streaming server farm (which utilises the latest high-end equipment to ensure maximum performance) and discuss with you how many formats and streams will be needed for the expected audience. If it is not possible to use a land line then a high performance satellite uplink and downlink to our secure super POP/internet Data Centre will be provided. We can take the feed from the satellite transmission and broadcast your content over the internet to your global audience seemlessly.

We can provide IP based Satelite Uplink solutions for cheaper than broadcast uplink technologies at the same quality. We have done this for a number of years for our clients, including the first ever such broadcast from the Tribal Gathering Festival in 1996. Monthly events for LiveGigsOnline and live webcasts for Warner Music are done from venues all over the UK.

 Level 3 direct requires a 400MB fixed bandwidth commitment every month.
