The Astream CDN (Content Delivery Network) automatically determines the location of the viewer by checking their IP address on our global database, they then receive the stream or content from the server nearest to them. It is available to all Web TV, Net Radio and Live Webcast customers. It supports Flash, Windows Media, Real, Quicktime, MP3, Podcasts and other web object downloads.

Our CDN supports load balancing on a geographical basis and geoblocking to restrict content to specific territories.

It has already been used for several large global live webcasts for high profile clients.
